NIKE: RUNNING THROUGH HISTORY
I love track! In fact, I was on the track team in my early years of high school until Covid hit, and I had to stop running. Unfortunately, I never got back into it. It was one of my biggest regrets. I love movement, and I wanted to create something that emphasized a feel for motion and movement. On top of that, Nike is one of my favorite brands. Since Nike has come a long way from where they first started, I wanted to do an animation about where they all began!

I started off with doing some research about Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight, the creators of Nike. Once I familiarized myself more with the brand, I jumped into a rough storyboard of how I wanted the informational advertisement to play out.

After coming up with some rough storyboards, I put together some colors and a mood board that I thought conveyed my concept and the overall style of the animation.

With inspiration from my style/mood board and my color scheme, I began making style frames with the use of Photoshop and Illustrator. These frames aided in the solidification of the direction that I wanted to take this project in! I made sure to highlight their impact on the fashion industry and the athletics industry. After that, I tossed all of my assets inside of After Effects and began animating!
