SURE DON'T MISS YOU

STYLE FRAMES

PROJECT BRIEF

Students were tasked to create 6-8 style-frames that feature a song that picked. We were challenged with showing the essence of the song through those frames. I chose "Sure Don't Miss You," a song written by The Dip. The song highlights someone moving on from their relationship, and though they feel a sense of relief, sometimes they find themselves still lingering on the past. I found old photos in my camera roll of my family, and superimposed images and text over them! Everything in these style-frames were done digitally except for the writing.

Since the song was about moving on from a relationship, I know I wanted to do something tactile that also included photos. I believe photos hold a lot of memories, and play a huge role in relationships. I also knew I wanted to use typography as an element of design as well! I wrote the lyrics down on a piece of paper and scanned them! I then went on photoshop and played with the blending modes of the writings!
