SPIDEY X MOTION
I am a huge fan of Spiderman, and this project allowed me to showcase my sketchbook journey, and how much the character means to me! Fun Fact, I saved multiple iterations of this project late at night, and one saved resulted in the video being called "Thwip-y Fresh." That name stuck for the rest of the saves, and now the project is nick-named Thwip-y Fresh.

I felt confident in this project, as a lot of what I have done with content creation involved getting creative with camera movements! I first started off with collecting over 200 videos and images of me doing various movements with different objects.

The most difficult part of this project involved composting in After Effects! I wanted the video to have a "Spider-Verse" aesthetic! In the Spider-Verse movie, there tends to be a lot of Ben-Day dots that are in highlights and shadows! There is also a lot of chromatic aberration in the movies as well! To achieve the Ben Day effect, I had to tweak and finesse a particle system in After Effects called CC Ball Action, and make it into an adjustment layer to apply texture on the video!

The second-most difficult part was actually at the beginning of the video… getting bit by a radioactive spider. Those aren't easy to come by, so I had to find a web online and use the puppet tool to tweak the web so that it looked like it launched out of my wrist.
